So it’s less than a week until Christmas…are you ready? Part of our celebration always involves eating lots and lots of food. I’m particularly fond of desserts. I may have eaten a few No-Bake Cookies for breakfast, and for a late night snack, and often in between.
While I make some incredible desserts I wanted to get a few new ideas so I turned to some of my favorite bloggers and asked for suggestions. If you have a delicious recipe to contribute, go ahead and tell us about it and link to it in the comments.
We eat a plant-based diet that is mostly free of wheat, nuts and oil. These recipes may contain ingredients that I don’t normally use but are sure to be a hit with your family and friends. I recommend labeling any food that you take to parties, especially if it contains nuts. Remember these are desserts and will likely be high in fat, sugar and deliciousness. Eat wisely.
Annie at An Unrefined Vegan was one of the first bloggers I started following. She constantly creates beautiful recipes like this Sweet Potato Maple Mousse Pie. If you are looking for a little more Christmas cheer try her Raw Gingerbread & Chocolate Tarts.
Somer from Vedged Out really out did herself with these Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars. She includes a healthier version and a little bit naughty version. As you can see by the comments they have been approved time and time again. You may even decide to skip the cookie making this year and bake these cookie bars instead.
Brandi had been creating tasty treats for quite a while but recently launched a new site called The Vegan 8! Her creations are always beautiful and use 8 ingredients or less. This 3 Ingredient Fudge seems too good to be true. Brandi’s Raw Vegan Cinnamon Spice Cheesecake Tart and Chocolate Gingersnap Mousse Pie are making my mouth water.
Amber at Adventures In Mindful Living hosts a weekly link up called the Mindful Mommy Monday Link Up Party. She blogs about food, family, finances and much more. A couple of her favorite recipes include Chocolate Chip Cookies and this Apple Pie.
Lastly, you all know Sarah from Gazing In. I love making her recipes, they always turn out amazing. She was also the inspiration for my Life Changing Gluten-Free Brownies. I trust any recipe she recommends and you should too! That makes me really excited to try her Dark Chocolate Truffles and her Gingerbread Popcorn. These are perfect to take to a Christmas Party, New Year’s Eve Party or give as a gift to a neighbor.
Are you making a special dessert this week? I’d love to hear about your recipe!
