I have a bachelor’s degree in business and have previously worked as a Financial Adviser for a leading investment company. In addition to blogging here I also do freelance social media management and I’m currently a full-time Social Media Coordinator for a large faith-based nonprofit.
My husband, Jim, works behind the scenes at My Plant-Based Family. He is a project manager and handles the editing for this blog and other projects.
Additionally, we regularly speak to groups and individuals about plant-based living, going gluten-free, and managing food allergies.

If you are new to a plant-based or allergy-friendly lifestyle let me reassure you that it gets easier. I was once where you are. I remember standing in the grocery store aisle overwhelmed and fighting back tears. We can get through this together.
