There are several opportunities to expand your plant-based skills.
Healthy Cravings is a group that meets once a month. Each month we cover a different topic and offer a hands on experience for the attendees. There is a $5 recommended donation to offset the cost of the food, this donation is voluntary and is not required. Visit the Healthy Cravings page for more information.
Classes
I offer group and individual classes in cooking, Gluten-Free Cooking/Baking, Allergy-Friendly Cooking, Transitioning to a Plant-Based Diet, as well as Meal Planning. If you (or your organization) are interested in learning more about healthy living contact me and we can discover the best class for you, whether you need an intense cooking class or a fun cooking demonstration.
Meal Planning Classes can be taught to individuals, small or large groups. Each participant will leave the class with a clear understanding of how and why to Meal Plan, along with helpful strategies that will suit their individual style and help them save money.
Cooking Classes can be taught to individual or small groups. Cooking Demonstrations can also be done for individual, small or large groups. Each class is crafted around the individual/group preference. When possible, attendees will participate in a hands-on class.
Custom Meal Planning is a new service I provide on a limited basis. There are many meal planning sites you can subscribe to, some are well priced but they still never worked for us. We have our favorite recipes we want to eat every week or so. Because of our allergies/intolerance’s to a large number of foods those one-size fits all programs won’t work for us.
I offer a 4 week meal plan that takes your unique preferences and restrictions into account. Each week includes a prep sheet, detailed menu and shopping list. Your Custom Meal Plan will begin with a questionnaire to find out about your eating style and goals, then I’ll tailor a Meal Plan to fit your unique needs.
Speaking
I speak to groups, large and small about adopting a healthy diet. I use a conversational style and personal stories to encourage small changes that make a big difference.
